Big Bold & Blue

The pergola was completed in March 2015. With a random assortment of timber offcuts and parts of an old redundant polytunnel frame, not to mention salvaged fixings, we have created what we believe to be an interesting and arresting garden feature. Wickes were having a sale on woodstain at the same time, and after putting it to the vote we plumped for the blue. Now it stands proudly in the middle of the cutting garden waiting for the roses to clamber up in the summer months. Thanks to Ian for his fantastic skilled workmanship and to everyone else for helping to support posts, beams, ladders and so on.
